Six young people are organizing their holiday after obtaining their school leaving certificate, the choose was hard to make Egypt, Greece, N. Zeeland, Paris, Tokyo. But at last they decided upon South America. The itinerary was going to be Messico- Bolivia- Perù. Only the departure time was sure , at 10.00 from Fiumicino to Lima. After having worked hard they deserved a rest. The travel arrangements were arduous: places to visit, tickets hotels to book, luggage to pack. But now they were finally on the airplane beginning their adventure.
It was 14.00: the airplane was flying over the Atlantic;
It was 17.00: there were some turbulences;
It was 17.10: the airplane was going down.
The horror at the waking was stronger than the pain, but soon it all left place to fear. Alone in the middle of the jungle "What could they do? Wait here for rescue? Go out there, they would soon became food for predators. The problem was solved for them at sunset. They found themselves surrounded by indigenous. They were taken as hostage to a village, therefore they passed 30 years in a village deep in the jungle. Served and revered like gods fallen on the earth with a lightning hurled to punishing the men. While the world outside was asking itself where were the passengers of that unfortunate flight. This was the incredible story that assured to the journalist J.A. the title of journalist of the year. J.A. left without will from Milano for the equatorial forest, and once arrived she intended to stay there the iess possible in contact with those wild ones. She was astonished when she saw the scrap of the airplane , she was even more astonished when she was received, in that poor village, by so many indigenes and behind them six people that seemed Europeans. One of those was approaching and with confuse words invited the troupe to go in a "hose" that was bigger than the others but inside was equally poor. Later that man, called Leonardo, with some difficulties told her their adventure, starting from the excitement of the trip to the fear when the airplane crashed and the surprise to find themselves still alive and the adaptation to the life of the village. J.A. after having taken photos of the scrap of the airplane, of the village, of the indigenous, convinced them to return to the civilization. So they left those which had been their homes for the last 30 years, to return to their families. The news left everyone amazed , in fact at the beginning the relatives ,when contacted, could not believe the incredible story.
At the airport those who had been informed of the story, watched them with curiosity, the stewardess deal with them very well. They felt astonished from all new developments, at their arrival in Rome they expected many journalists, a total chaos, instead the little group, composed by the six people and the troupe, passed unnoticed between the frenetic crowd that fills up the airports. The small group was conveyed to a room full of people . J.A. wanted them to repair behind a table and after having done a short speech, she called the six boys one by one . While the photographers immortalized all the meetings with the families, the six people watched each others going towards their families. A last glance and they found themselves surrounded by sisters and fathers lost since 30 years.
